From the moment she first appeared on screen Rikku was a lovable character in the world of Final Fantasy. She quickly gained a large fan following as evidenced by the constant stream of fan art, multiple portrayals in cosplay and, of course, the making of Rikku 3D hentai. On of the most popular doujin works featuring Rikku is a near photorealistic CG collection. The rendering quality, including the texturing, lighting and shading, rival the original Final Fantasy X game in which she appears. Other works include very well done 2D art collections and the occasional fan manga. Still, few works can capture the spirit and personality of the character as some of those at the top of the genre.
Rikku seems like a character that was made for 3D. Hentai works that are able to properly render her complex hairstyle, something often difficult to accomplish in CGI, and her colorful costume, are easy to spot on sites that sell Japanese doujin work. These are the works that usually end up with high sales and many votes of approval from fans. Because the character can be difficult to render, this likely keeps out all but the most dedicated of doujin artists from attempting a work involving her. Still, those artists skilled enough at 3D hentai to pull it off can offer fans a glimpse of the character they could only fantasize about in the games.
