The world of anime and manga was changed forever by the advent of computer graphics. While the computer has certainly made leaps for 2D artwork, with software for digital ink and coloring, one of the greatest advances for the industry was brought about by 3D. Hentai anime production studios gained the ability to create products that may not have been possible before. In fact, many of these studios, were it not for the abilities given them by 3D computer animation, might not be producing video at all.
